Our school offers two distinct paths of learning:

Option 1 —

Become a Pause, Rest, Lead® Certified Facilitator and Teacher

You’ve mastered success. You move with power. Now, imagine leading from your deepest well. Pause, Rest, Lead® certification path is a slow, spacious, and meticulous journey, a training for high-impact leaders who are ready to lead, teach, and facilitate change from a more rested place. The full certification path is one of a kind. It is where power meets presence, and success expands beyond achievement into something sustainable, more profound, deeply human and sacred.

What You’ll Learn —

  • Lead from Rest: Embody restful leadership to guide others into presence and clarity.

  • Hold Transformative Space: Create sacred, trauma-aware spaces where others can truly pause and restore.

  • Teach in Rhythm: Lead offerings that help others reconnect with soul, season, and inner knowing.

  • Rooted in Living Lineage: Train within a sacred rest-centered lineage guided by Octavia F. Raheem and a purposeful  cohort.

Option 2 —

Individual Courses and Classes

Start where you are. Go as deep as you’re ready.

Our Individual course model within our Sacred Studies are focused, heartful learning experiences for those called to explore rest as sacred, one course at a time. Each course is a portal into presence, wisdom, and embodied leadership.

No pressure to commit to the full path. This is an invitation to begin.

Note —

  • We know you will be inspired by your individual course in our school and enrolling in an individual course does not grant you permission to represent yourself, brand, or business as a certified Pause, Rest, Lead® facilitator. Electives, Yin and Unlearn Hustle are the only courses open to non certification path students at this time.

Meet the team

Learn more about our Founder, Visiting Teachers, and Certified Pause, Rest, Lead® Facilitators. Our team centers the teaching, expertise, research, spirituality, and methodology of the global majority and allies/ accomplices who do the inner rest and work to hold space for others with awareness of their privilege and wisdom, humility, and integrity.

FAQs

  • No. If you are on the certification path you must meet all online session attendance requirements and attend all four days of the capstone and certification retreat. 

  • Full participation with camera on is required for all online sessions. Replays will be available through for review and reference as you progress through your training experience. If you are enrolled in an individual course you will have access to each course for three days following the conclusion of the course.

  • There is no training or equivalent to Pause, Rest, Lead® Facilitator and Teacher training. We are setting  the standard for  rest coaches, rest facilitators, and  rest teachers. This training will provide you with depth hours of training time, practice, hands on experience, sacred business coaching, a certificate of completion, and the knowledge needed to offer impactful rest based experiences in any environment. All of that to say, as leaders in the field we are certifying ourselves!

  • No. To be certified you’ll need to apply, be accepted into the certification path, satisfy all of the course requirements within two years of acceptance, as well as complete a practicum and multitier final evaluation.

  • Both the certification and individual course path training is offered by application only to insure readiness and an appropriate match. In order to be considered, please complete the following application. Applications for certification paths are open once a year. Applications for individual course will be available as space allows after all certification candidates have been placed in their required or chosen courses.
